I can't lie to you guys. During the winter I am not /out/ I am thoroughly in. I might go on alike or two over the winter but that's it.

I go out for the plants and the birds and the bugs. All my friends are in hibernation or down south. I find winter camping dull. Everything is in grey scale and dead. There's little to forage for. All this and it's more work and requires a different set of gear as well.

Sell me on winter camping.
