Normal precautions, haven't had any issues. Most animals I've seen run away, had a giant owl swoop down right above me. Imagine hearing nothing out of the ordinary then at the top of your vision you see something that makes you look up. Can't even see the whole wingspan because that's how huge it is, probably five feet above and completely silent. Checking you out, trying to decide if you look like lunch or wondering what is that thing making so much noise.
