I was more trying to point out that mountain lion attacks are "scarier" than bear attacks because you will not see or hear a mountain lion attacking you until it's on top of you, fucking your shit up.
Also, i'm pretty sure that dogs are responsible for the majority of animal attacks in the US, and IIRC Deer are actually the #1 wild animal attacks. But those aren't as terrifying because they are both more common, and you will at least know what is happening.
