it is rad, certainly, and there is an incredible variety of people, landscapes and cultures around. lots of things to do and see, from tropical scubadiving to (almost) 7000m mountain climbing.
but don't expect the level of comfort, resources or legality you can find in USA, it's a bit chaotic. which in some sense is fun, but it can get annoying.
is getting too touristic and crowded day by day, so hurry up.
