Is this some of the best little-known outdoor gear? Of course, everyone knows about Fjallraven suits and other such popular things. But I've never met nor heard of anyone but myself using a Gorka when outdoors. QRD:
>many generations, the most common is Gorka 3 but there is also a Gorka 5 now
>Comes available in basic canvas or membrane fabric, with insulated winter models that can have a -60C temp rating, most of the Gorka 5s have a removable fleece lining in the jacket
>Ample pockets, freedom of movement
>Blocks wind
>Camo or solid brown/green models
>cheap due to Russian manufacture but good quality
You can get a regular canvas version for like 120$ shipped and a goretex one for 150$. They all come with top and bottom and have really great suspenders. They're popular for airsofters but are made for outdoors/camping/hunting.
Any other fans out here?
