You're going to be riding at least 25-30mph slower than everyone behind you, who at best will be annoyed and at worst will throw garbage at you or even attempt to run you off the road. I've been bicycle touring, and even when riding on the side of the highway people get mad enough to do that sometimes. But you won't have the luxury of riding on the side of the road because your scooter is much bigger than a bike.
And you'll just have to pray that every driver behind you sees you, or that the highway has a very generous shoulder to ride on. If not, you're going to have a very bad time on the highway my dude.
