I recently read a research paper about harbors in Dor (coastal city in Israel), that discussed how to analyze man made docks and bollards. And I gotta say that looks like a harbor, and ocean levels have risen significantly over time. However, there aren't any moorings or anchorages, and it's quite too deep for it to have been usable in the past couple thousand years. So I'd call it a cool archaeological thought experiment, but probably not marine architecture. That or we got another sea snake invasion on our hands, not to worry we beat them before I'm sure we'll beat them again.
