As spring is coming and people are staying inside so they can't get the chink flu, I'm aiming to get out on my first solo hike/camp/fishing trip in May for my birthday. I wanted to bring along with me a guide to reference while I'm innawoods for the first time. Do you guys have any suggestions? I've been told the SAS Survival manual is great but I'm not looking to survive the end of the world, just a weekend outside alone fishing. I'm bringing a solar charger I got for Christmas this year so I'm not opposed to bringing an E-Reader, although I don't know how good those chargers work. Any suggestions?
