Fire sticks take a lot of skill and the right tools/wood
Its easy to make fire shavings with any knife or wood, but thats hard to light with a ferro rod
Birch bark is great to get the shaving lit, but birch isnt always available.
Whats some good easy to light tinder for the initial spark?
Preferably something that can be lit in the rain.
