Man, those Yetis are nice, but they are awfully expensive. I like the idea of having gear that will last for many years, but I'm just not sure that these are a wise investment. Yetis are at least six times as expensive as a mid-tier Coleman or Igloo. Even if you save money by buying ice less often AND the cooler lasts much longer, you have to use it very often to gets your money's worth out of it. Plus they are a target for thieves. Plus most people own multiple coolers of various sizes, compounding the cost/benefit issue.
White. White. White. Reflects sunlight to stay cooler and keep ice longer. Easier to find/see inside of in low light conditions.
