My girlfriend is in a lockdown in Slovakia and I'm in Germany, Berlin. I need to get into that country to be with my girl and I'm dead serious about it as I'm not leaving her alone there. I have basic military training, I'm healthy and fit, I got a negative test for covid-19 and I can go for days in the woods. I would be glad for any piece of advice you guys could give me, even if for the ones telling me this is a stupid idea. God bless you.

Well likely but shouldn't be too hard to print some retarded paper that to show to border patrol. Borders aren't really closed to all traffic. Within countries you can move around to work, provide assistance to family, buy groceries. That kind of stuff.

I just checked flixbus and it does seem not even them are operating, I don't know about trains or public transportation within german borders but I would say you should try to find some truck driver with Slovak plates and ask for a ride, even if they legally can't then offer some cash and it shouldn't be too hard.

I also checked and you still have flights departing from Berlin to Vienna, from there is much easier to reach Slovakia. Maybe try to get your gf to Germany, probably easier.

I think /out/ can help and I feel for you, mate, but you need to be realistic in this time. Going around trying to live some fantasy in a time where people are getting arrest for walking on the street is not.

Going there on foot or bike doesn't seem something achievable at the moment though. Try to stay clam, both of you. Numbers in Slovakia are far from being critical, do some research on the truck thing, look on facebook.

big mountains above us. a big river flowing behind us. flat land around us the soil is red, dusty and very rocky and shallow.

I am from Slovakia. I'm led to believe that the main border transits are still open. I'm pretty sure they'd let you through if you told them you needed to get to your family. You'd probably have to be quarantined for two weeks after you entered the country though. If you'd like to ask any questions, feel free to do so

What's stopping you? the borders aren't defended, they've just implemented random controls on the roads. just cross the border on forest- or field roads instead of the highway and you're fine.
Moving within the lockdown zone is going to be a bit harder if they've implemented a full lockdown (curfews and the like), but if they've still got exceptions for deliveries, you can just claim to be a courier.

czech annon here. Most easy way to get o slavakia is trough czech republic. best way to get here if you dont want to go across border control is trough german-czech national park czech switsarland, it shouldn't be guarded and it is pretty there. after crossing border you should hike to czech city called Děčín. From there you can tak a train to Prague and from there take a train to city called Zlín. It is really close to czech-slovakia border. Than you should hike to slovakia town called Trenčín and from there you should be able to take a train anywhere you want. I'm not saying it will be easy. You will have to hike minum 70km, but it is doable. And you will need outdoor maps, there is good map site with outdoor maps for germany, czech and slovakia called mapy.cz. And in czech republic there is kinda instate travel ban, but only oficialy, most people don't care. And you will need facemasks, because they are compulsory when you are going outside.
