Hey /out/, britfriend here who's fairly new to actual camping and stuff wondering if outdoor survival or camping is really worth getting into.

I suppose the problem is in the UK most camping shops just sell back garden tents and coolers. Where would i even go to acquire hatchets (since the government dont trust half of the population with anything sharp or pointy) or where is actually a "remote" place where someone could even go outdoor surviving?
