I swear to god as soon as this shit ends I'm living out my lifelong dream: A 370 miles walk from Paris to my childhood village and back. Anything goes. Only rule being no giving up and no hitchhiking.
Issue being: I have little to no hiking/outdoors experience, which on one hand is exactly why I want to do this, I want it to be a trial by fire, not something entirely enjoyable, something to overcome rather than simply do. But on the other hand I don't want to simply jump into this butt naked and walk straight into giving up after a day/dying of starvation.
So my question is this : If current estimates as far as the outbreak goes are to be believed, I should be able to do this around may/june, so that leaves me around 2-3 months to prepare. What's the bare minimum I should make sure of in terms to route planning, material, food and water, money etc.. ? Also if you have general tips that would be welcome too.
