>>1745074That's not all it takes. Remember, I said
>Be respectful and quiet>No negative talking>Bring offerings>Stay with others>AND smudge>This is their wilderness, we just visitSage is a powerful medicine if approached right. And it's not all horrors. "Fae," "dwarves," Dogmen, Sasquatch, Skinwalkers, etc. are not all horrible all of the time. We have become removed from a spiritual reality that never forgot about us. And they're not beyond comprehension. You can comprehend them, but try and contextualize these things in a language you were never taught. Hard, right?
>>1745341Most of the desert is a thin place. Hard places for us doesn't translate to hard places for them.
They are jealous, in some of our opinion. They are seeking a power we have latent that they don't. If Skinwalkers used to be human, but had to become an abomination to achieve power, they would be hateful of us if we had it innate all along. They want power over our weakness. So much of every human mythology has us eventually becoming powerful and linking with or becoming gods. Well, if we can become powerful and can become gods, why can't we do this now? Why don't they battle each other? Why do aliens supposedly abduct us and stick stuff in our ass? We're easy targets because we've lost our way in the natural world.
Knock and ask to enter. Bring an offering; a shooter should do. Bring gifts. When it's quiet, assert your right to be there. Be positive in the wilderness. Remote bodies of water need to be placated. Avoid things that seem strange. And Dave Paulides has a lot of other things right, but he needs to take the next step into what wasi'cu call "paranormal." This isn't a shill, he's just onto something real.
We were meant to be among these things and be dominant over them. Don't be afraid, just be confident and hedge your bets, so to speak. I don't have too many answers, I just hedge my bets well. While I've been scared and tempted to "wander," I will not let them victimize me.
