The space and weight capacity is limited on a motorcycle, taking something that looks very bulky and heavy seems like a really bad decision to me. If you want it then buy it, I would make sure you can easily set it up on the ground first. If you take the bike out of that equation there is no point mounting it like that. I also assume its semi permanently fitted to the bike frame.

Don't know about that KTM, but no trail or offroad bike I've ever been on would be stable like that. And if you have one of those sidestands that close the moment they're not against the ground, turning over in your sleep might be enough to have your bike fall over.

Besides, I don't see any advantage over a regular tent or even a hammock.
