I've always toted my sleeping bag with me everywhere I go until I discovered YouTube. All the big bushcraft channels on YouTube told me wool blankets are better than sleeping bags. I paid over a 200 for 2 high qualiyt 100% wool blankets.
Last night I used them for camping and wrapped myself around in them as they recommend. I still froze my butt off.
They're also extremely heavy. 12 pounds total. I even took that wool blanket off of my ruck due to the weight of it. I am never going out with them again
