Im considering purchasing a yacht as my main residence. Is there any chance anyone here had any knowledge about doing this? Costs of boat maintenance vs house maintenance? How the loans work? I qualify for a VA loan but it doesnt look like you can use them for vessels, so it may be a moot enterprise.
