Hey /out/ don't come around here too often, but I just moved out from San Francisco to Ashland, southern Oregon. After about an hour of looking for morel mushrooms, I finally found 1, but I'm obviously not doing very good with that output. What are some tips to finding these faster and more effectively?

Pic is the mushroom I found about an hour ago.

look harder
use a mesh bag so they can spread there spores as you look for more
old apple orchards tend to have lots of them

They love to grow under the following trees
-Tulip

Tulip is a bulb right? Anyways I live in southern Oregon and most of the trees here are Madrone and Fir. Madrone do tend to die quite often and the bark falls off.
