Flying a drone when there are people around is fucking obnoxious, but the potential to do amazing /p/ shit with a drone when you're really out on your own is fantastic. I have a light drone that can fly when there's very little wind and I have big plans for it when the time is right. Like flying down this little canyon when the creek is rushing white during the spring thaw

It can be cool, but really obnoxious to anyone around you. On-season in Joshua Tree was fucked, as there were a lot of droners and tourists around the main park.

They're like dirt bikes, cool as fuck to own, obnoxious to anyone else within earshot. Choose your time and place.
