Well anons, it's that time of year again.
Three years ago today the kind anons of /out/ came together to celebrate the cheerful tune brought to us by the poster seen here
https://archive.nyafuu.org/out/thread/956638/#956663
It so deeply touched the soul of another kind anon that he was inspired to make his own rendition on piano, and from there the rest is history. All manner of instrument wielding /out/ists came crawling out of the woodwork to pay tribute to this sacred melody. Everything from the human voice to garageband was used to reiterate this anthem of optimism on that day, and since then the list of floote songs has come to have to a not underwhelming ten entries.
This year, our holy day finds many of us hidden away /in/side our homes, severed from the happy hills of /out/ in fear of catching or spreading a decidedly uncomfy plague, but all this means is that there has never been a better time to reflect on the good days and maybe take part in the happy ritual yet again or perhaps for the first time.
So sit back, take off all your shoes, and let the sweet melodies of joyous discordance bring happy feels and musical creativity to us all.
Happy floote day!
