Ok /out/doorsmen, how do I not make canteens as uncomfortable as fuck to carry?

I will usually go hiking with a camelback but I occasionally want to take my canteen on my belt as well for extra hydration, but it's a pain in the ass on my belt when it's full. How or where do you carry your canteen so it is almost unnoticeable (like a camelback).
