>>1732477Use a live trap and some cat food. You'll get tons of them. I do this every fucking year and trap about 2-3 dozen feral and stray cats. All of them go to the local animal shelter, but they have told me to just shoot them now (thank you redneck animal shelter people). So, I kill about 2-3 dozen of them per year now.
It's been the 5th year of this. About 120 cats later the local birds, ground birds, and small mammals like squirrels, chipmunks, and rabbits are showing up. I heard bob white quail. Fucking QUAIL, which were pretty much extinct in this area until this year.
There's been no cats this year, but there's a higher sighting/hearing rate for coyotes in the area too this year.
Cats and rats are some of the most destructive invasive species man has ever been responsible for.
