Today I made this fucker right here.
It may not look like much, but it boils a liter of water in 10 minutes, cost nothing and weighs 13g.
You bury it an inch deep in the ground so it's stable, fill it with alcohol, light it up, wait for the alcohol to burn and then put your pot on top.
What kind of gear have you made yourself?
