I'll start:
>went mountain hiking in the winter with my little sister
>not high mountains, no rocks only trees
>it's very little snow, taking longer route
>heaviest snowfall I've seen all day
>can't come back now, too much snow
>we're trapped by the snow
>walk all day and until midnight
>lost the trail
>can't walk anymore
>too late for calling rescue, they won't find us before we freeze to death
>make a shelter with one space blanket as a floor, mixed debris and snowdug shelter covered with snow for insulation
>melt some snow for a tea and leave gas stove on (with hole for air circulation)
>we take our boots off, put dry socks on, crawl into our sleeping bags, I gave my inflatable sleeping pad to my sis
>we sleep for few hours
>I'm in worst condition due to almost none insulation beneath me
>we walk off this with only minor toes frostbite
