Europe better food

but really depends how you see it. like if go with islands that belong to euro nations like the Falklands or Greenland island ? it get pretty big and nice too. and if consider going out a nice tour a few days camping + hiking. or 2 weeks no people and big game

For technical mountaineering I might actually recommend Europe over US. Yes, it's more densely populated and there isn't as much untouched land, but it has a far more developed mountaineering tradition and the logistics are far easier, even if the Cascades have a respectable climbing history. Bivouacs are permitted while hiking in the Alps too, and they have more 4000m peaks than the US and Canada combined. Throw in the Caucasus, and there's more 5000m peaks in Europe too. Only Alaska really really stands up to that, but many parts will be costly to access, with Denali being ~500m higher than any mountain in Europe.

It's 11pm and I have no car, but if it weren't for the lockdown I could be in the Alps in any of the countries they span tomorrow using only public transport, despite them being roughly 1000km from my doorstep, and would probably have several different modes of transport to choose from. Europe has castles + history. It's not rare to stumble upon some monastery ruins in the forests.
The only natural formations that Europe lacks are canyons and desert stuff. Other than that, nature is not that different on the two continents. Also redwoods, but mutts will cut them all down by 2100.

Western US by miles. Norway, Sweden and Finland are decent. Good laws for being /out/ as well, but that’s about it. Except for Riussia. Only real downside to America is the severe lack of coastline, especially since your pacific coastline is cold as fuck.

There's good places to go out in both
If you live in the mountains in europe, or in the north with lots of forests, obviously going /out/ is accessible
But in general, america has a lot more wild spaces for camping and the like
If you live in a big, sprawling city and don't have good transport though, it's still a pain in the ass, no matter where you are
