Is there a lightweight waterproof camera that doesn't suck? The closest I've found is the TX5, which is old as hell and can't even charge the battery (fuck you, Sony, and fuck your proprietary cables). Being able to take photos in low light a major plus. Not interested in stupid Japanese features.
Olympus TG-whatever: Lead brick
Nikon AW1: Lead brick and no longer made
Waterproof box: Boxy and pain in the butthole
GoPro: absolute shit-tier still photography

I think the major problem is Japanese camera makers associate waterproof with scuba diving, so making it heavy as a lead brick is considered a plus.
