There are also a lot of good foods you can bring that don't really spoil. Chips and salsa. Cheese and crackers. Fresh fruit. Bagels and cream cheese. Sandwiches--either prepared at home or bring the materials to camp, so that way you can prep a portable lunch and take it with you on a day hike or fishing expedition.
