Anybody know whats up with the state and national parks? I was looking at doing some basic bitch camping to blow some steam off and get respite from the suburbs, but it looks like everything has been closed down. The two prevailing narratives are:
1) the parks are getting swamped, so they are closed until further notice.
2)the parks are understaffed and closed, so feel free to wander in and set up wherever.

I was planning on Crescent state park near Port Austin, but I don't want to get fucked by fines since I just recently got laid off. Am I being retarded or is it a real concern that whatever staff they do have on deck will shit on my parade.
