Hurr. I'd like some feedback on those pliers though, even if I'm more interested in the larger version on Wenger's Ranger line, left of pic.

Too bad most of those are retardedly overpriced, the addition of pliers makes the price jump for some fucking reason. Most decent knives with pliers cost over 100€.

A leatherman costs 80, and if you compare build quality and production tolerances, the higher price of the Swiss tools is entirely justified.

The price jump comes from lower production numbers, and the fact that pliers can't be stamped out of steel sheets like all other tools.

My two. The Trekker is always in my pocket when I'm /out/. That saw is great. It's the only serrated blade I've ever owned that I really liked, probably because it's different serrations than you see most of the time. The red one (don't know the model name and Victorinox doesn't make one like it now) has an amazingly handy mix of tools for EDC. And both take a killer edge and hold it.

1990's Cammilus one of my stepdad's friends gave to me on a camping trip when I was 10.
Thing is fantastic, keeps and edge and is great to use, highly recommend it.

I have two Camillus knives from when they were US made. PSK and a trapper. Both kick ass, rugged and hold an edge. The PSK is a bitch to sharpen, though.

They're good stuff. My uncle was in the Army and bought my PSK at the px at Reese AFB something like 20 years ago. I'd love to have one of the knives like in your pic.
