What's a good phone for being in the wilderness for a while? For having on hand for an emergency, for GPS (apps like Gaia GPS), or whatever.

I like the moto G7 power, just due to insane battery life

Any phone >=5000mAh. If andoid you put it in low power mode and it lasts like two weeks I think.

Just turn your cell signal off when hiking and put it in low power mode. Your phone will last a fuck ton longer.

I use my phone as a camera (Pixel 3) and bring a battery pack if I'm out for a couple days. Takes pretty good pics desu
