I'm buying my first gun, primarily for hunting deer.
(I haven't made a final decisin whether it will be a slug-barreled shotgun or a bolt-action rifle. I'm primarily chooseing based upon cost.)
However....all my state's gun stores are closed, so I'm buying online.
Can you please recommend the best sites for buying hunting rifles/shotguns?
Note that cost IS an issue. I'm hoping to spend around $200, and definitely less than $400.

It seems like it's just eBay for guns.

Also what state you in? You should look up what's allowed for hunting and what's not. Even down to towns. Where I'm at a ton of towns dont allow rifles at all.

All stores are closed.
Some stores have "drop off" sales of items at the door front, but you can't go in anything but grocery and hardware stores.

rifle hunting isn't until mid-November
however, it is permitted on private property (or, if it's not, people still hunt and the rules aren't enforced)
I go out to a remote dairy farm weekly to get raw milk and eggs and you can literally hear the gunshots (and, yes, it's hunting and not just target practice)
moreover....with the way CoronaMania is going, I'm not at all confident any of those hunting laws are going to matter soon:

Hello fellow Michigan anon. There are plenty of online sites like Buds guns that ship nation wild with little to no extra work. Just checkout like normal but instead of using you address for shipping it ships to your local gun store. Just call you local stores and ask how they are operating and what there transfer prices are for the gun.
I would recommend a Tikka T3 in .308 for a fudd gun. Save up your neet bux for a half a year until deer season and buy once cry once.

no it isn't, the bullet button was a little block over your mag release so you could only drop the mag using "a tool". conveniently the tip of a bullet seemed to somehow fit into the opening and serve to press the button, thus "bullet button".
