>>1745545If you don't mind a shred of realism. Maybe with mods Minecraft could be better but I've never tried it that way. There's this /out/ game called Subsistence. It's kinda like Rust but without the PVP. It's a single player (or co-op) game where you're trying to survive and build a base in a forest. The animals are your biggest enemy (unrealistic amount of wolves, feral dogs, bears, and mountain lions but they add to the fun), there are also Hunters. They won't attack you but if you get near them they will, they also partake in revenge attacks so if you kill one of them, they will seek you out and try to kill you or destroy your base when you're out looking for resources. Its probably the only game that does four reasons right and it looks beautiful too. Don't expect too much from it either though, it's a single dev and truth be told the amount of work he puts into it is spectacular. He's still regularly dropping updates so the games only getting better. Nowhere near abandonware.
