This duck appears to have it's tongue hanging out of it's mouth. I've already contacted the local animal shelters and a wildlife reserve that will be getting back to me later today. The duck and it's family (Mother and 3 siblings, I think), spent a few hours on the shore of our lake house, this one clearly injured in some way. The thing below it's beak appears to be it's tongue, and it moves a little bit. I have a video if it will help anybody with a diagnosis. Is there anything else I can do for it? Or should I just wait for the reserve?
