Hey guys.

Currently caretaking some mountain cabins up in Finnmark, a place called Ongajoksetra. That dam sexy Coronahan has stop me being able to get my driver's license recognized so It looks like I'm gonna be staying in the area.

I'm right at the end of this valley and there is just untouched wilderness beyond. can't wait for the snow to melt to start exploring. Looking at google maps there seem to be lots of mountain lakes and apparently the fishing is meant to be great.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to detoxing from civilization, screens and all that jazz. I dream of going to the mountains and spending a few days at a time, meditating (really liking the wimhof method), hiking, fishing, swimming, reading, etc. The things are I have NO experience in this kind of thing. Sure I have done a lot of tramping but I've always relied on civilization and have never done the wilderness thing. Hell, I have never fished in my life.

do you have any advice? essential equipment I need (not a richfag)? a book I can buy? I have a comfy bivy sak/blow-up mattress but need to get a few tarps to make something rainproof. I would also like to try and make a small shelter. also any tips of fishing, but I can go to the fishing general for that.
