Hey anons, just discovered this board and I'm impressed by the sheer amount of good information here. specially for me who's planning to go /out/ soon, for undefined time.

The thing is, everybody here seems to be European or North American. I'm currently in northeast Brazil and I want to travel this whole continent, hitchhiking, train hopping and camping, and maybe after that do the same in other continents.

I'm no innocent guy, I'm in my mid twenties, I'm pretty big and have solid martial skills, by living in one of the toughest regions in Brazil as a middle class guy, I've learnt how to deal with the streets and sketchy people/situations. So, I know how dangerous it could be out there.

Yet, I have much to learn, specially the technical aspects like bush crafting, camping and survival. Knowledge is never too much. I hope to hear from you guys any tips that applies to my situation, or maybe encounter another fellow South American here. Best regards.
