>tips?Shoot a great deal. Just remember that you need to pace yourself or your'll fuck up your shoulders. You may even need to start with a very low weight bow, like 30lbs-50lbs. That will give you lots of practice without blowing a rotator cuff.

You are better off using blunt tips for practicing. It isn't like you don't know where you are hitting when you hit a target. If you use judo tips while stumping you can more easily find your arrows. The mechanics of the strike help lift the arrow up where you may see it more easily. Very useful in grassy areas.
