i'm planning a 3000km motorcycle trip throu austria in september.

so if anyone here is from that region.
how cold does it get there ins september nights?
do you think a tarp, a camping mat, and a cheap sleeping bag is enough? (comfort zone of the sleeping bag is badged as 0°C)

also wha kind of people do i have to expect?
can i just set up my tarp anywhere or will i get in trouble if i don't hide in the woods?
