German here, and for work boots I've had pretty good experience with the "Atlas" brand.
They still produce them locally which has become a very rare thing nowadays - even "quality" hiking boot brands such as Lowa, Haix etc have outsourced production to places like Slovakia or Croatia, which while still better than China/Vietnam/Indonesia/... when it comes to durability isn't quite the same.
I tend to wreck most shoes after a year max on the inside heel thanks to protruding bones, but I had one pair of work shoes now for 10 years (granted, not daily use any more, but all in all I easily put 3000km on them) which are still going strong in that regard, also no polyurethane hydrolysis crap. They just became a little small by now so I bought a follow up model back this March, pic related.
They're fully leather + steel toe + sole and weigh about 1.8kg so I wouldn't recommend them for hiking, still they're comfy enough for me to not have tired feet after standing 8+ hours in them at work. Also kinda expensive, paid around €120 IIRC, but I'm rather willing to spend that amount once every 5 years than €50 for shit that falls apart after a couple months
