Yeah he was trying to make a bowl with coals and it was just really humid out so I started using it to pry wood out and the tip broke off.

If you mean splitting wood by "wood processing" that's what the hatchet is for.

I got a question, are Becker knives better than standard Ka-Bars? The tangs are full in comparison to the thinner Ka Bar tangs at least. How'd you like your Becker knife?

The traditional Ka bars have a stick tang and can break from chopping and batoning,
a Becker won't. I split a 6 inch dry and resin filled spruce logs and it held up.
