I want to reiterate the plant ID part. It's one of the most essential yet unknown outdoor skills.
>Finding plant food
>Finding good hunting spots
>Finding Medicine
>Finding water (knowing plants that grow near water)
>Knowing which dangerous plants to avoid
>Making cordage
>Knowing proper species for friction fire
>making bark utensils
>Making bows and other weapons
>and more
These are all skills that rely on plant Identification. The best outdoorsman will know all the plants in his area and even develop a relationship with them

Human centric retard. Everyone knows that there are some plants that are poisonous enough to kill you. So plant phytochemistry is potent enough to have a powerfull response on the body. Every dude weed stoner knows this. So why can't certain phytochemicals potentially be medicinal? If you want an example, Willow bark and many other plants contain salicylic acid which is essentially the same chemical as aspirin and what aspirin was derived from. 40% of prescription drugs are plant extracts or synthetic versions of plant chemicals.
