General/Generic Advice thread.
Thinking about getting into Off Roading, and more then likely accompanied with camping.
These are really the only two /out/ activities I am not really well versed in.
>Grew up (6-13) being in the woods dawn to dusk
>Can into fire, Good with a knife (plenty of scars from younger years), Shooting/hunting (recently had to start using .22 casings as targets (@50m)), knots, fishing, tracking, photography, etc.
So, M/out/ainmen, Where do i start? I'm looking into buying a Older jeep (probably a 79-94 CJ/wrangler).
>What are the must haves for setup and equipment?
>How do i find other people to go offroading with? Honestly one of my biggest worries is getting in a hole i cant get out of myself.
>Where/How do i find places to offroad?I live in eastern NC.
>What is good starter camping gear?
