Honeybees are not native to the Americas, either. If you want to encourage native North American bees as an example, that's one thing, but the strong implication that honeybees have ruined the ecosystem here is preposterous. And a lot of plants have been introduced and become endemic. Some haven't caused serious problems (i.e. plantain) while some are causing serious problems (kudzu vine). Not every introduced species is a zebra mussel, Africanized bee, kudzu vine, Asian giant hornet, etc.
