I want to buy a new combo since I'm raking in mulah by some backwards stimulus legislation, but don't really know if I need anything new. I have a 5'UL, a 6'6 UL, a 7' medium, a MH baitcaster, and a musky baitcaster, and a float rod. Might get a 300 dollar centerpin and drift flies for inland trout in order to practice for steelhead and salmon season. What's everyone's go to rod?
>>1769578Spinners, 20lb mono leader, cover lots of water. Bassfags normally hate pike for some unknown reason. I enjoy catching even small ones. They're super fun at 40 inches plus.
>>1769497Happens when you reel in lots of slack. It's a pain to get out but if you don't pull anything tight and you have a 70+IQ uou can almost always get it out without cutting it.
>>1769428Internet and more people who are usually occupied by drinking in basements, bars, and backyards now realizing there's such thing as a world outside of immediate civilization. I enjoy getting gill raked by pike and musky because when they're big enough to do that, i feel it's a fair exchange of injury. Being bit, not so much. Definitely able to take you to an ER for stitches, but it's not like they're eating people whole.
