>>1770881Not the guy you were replying to but I agree. 22 Miles round trip and 6k feet of gain isn't easy as a day trip, and it's especially not easy for "out of shape normies"
That being said, a lot of the 14ers here in CO are very easy. I started hiking in California, and even the local ones like Baldy, Jacinto and San G are more difficult. I was shocked when I moved. Dumb shit like driving to 12k feet and then hiking 5 miles RT and 2k feet of gain. Dont get me wrong there are some real tough ones in CO but I was shocked at how easy and accessible a lot are compared to CA. I haven't done Hood / Rainer / Adams but those seem fun.
