>>1769348>Same thread as every monthHD 7-series landcruiser for overlanding, as long as you stick to trails and roads. Landrover (I & II), Landrover Defender, the older leaf-sprung jeeps also work, but are not as good.
Suzuki LJ / SJ / FJ (or the Maruti and Santana copies) series for offroading. They're basically UTVs with doors and a roof.
Lada or Mahindra if you're on a budget and in the US (where Suzukis are hard to get)
American pickups, Jeeps, Landrovers and mercedes G for posing - just don't try to take them offroad unless you enjoy winching, or have spent thousands of $ on lifts, lockers and larger tires. They're all to heavy for (roundgrained) sand or mud, to long and wide for the forest and to low (without massive lifts) for rocks.
If this goes like usually, there's going to be at least three seething mutts claiming I'm wrong, because their 100k modded jeep can offroad as good as a 20k FJ in 4x2H. Don't take them seriously, instead, watch some trial tournaments. There's a reason 9/10 people there drive SJs and some tournaments even have a special class for cars not produced by Suzuki.
