>>1769686I was reading the journals of Lewis and clark, they come across all these indians that are only recently contacted by whites, some have never seen them, they are very much living in a pre industrial society and it seemed like life for most of the tribes totally sucked, they were constantly at war, starving and desperate for trade. Then again you look at th indians now and they have been reduced to getting drunk on the reservations all day.
There is nothing stopping most people from moving to the woods in Alaska or something but most people don't because as bad as industrial society sucks primitive society sucks as well. It's hard to just say people will stop using technology when it's right there for the taking. Maybe it everyone lived like the Amish do that would be reasonable.
