>>1773805This anon is right. You need a knife for gutting, skinning, and some initial processing. It doesn't take anything fancy or expensive. You'll find one you like after using a few knives. I've used a longish fillet knife to bone out moose, but I don't bone out deer.
I use pic related because I like the grippy handle and I also use scalpels because my wife has lots of them for her work.
This is one of those occasions where practical technique is more important than equipment. Fortunately it isn't rocket surgery and a lot of people and states' game departments have how-to videos on youtube.
