Me and the Ms. just went to Starved rock yesterday and did about 6mi. on the trails. It was a scorcher but not so bad in the shade.
Personally, I've been fishing every weekend or free afternoon I get. Still learning freshwater fish but it's been fun and I much prefer being outside, even if on a regulated forest preserve (bike cops with guns?), than sitting on my duff.
