>go and live in canada for up to 6 months thanks to being a UK citizen and canada being part of the commonwealth
>buy 20+ acres of rural woodland close to a road which is within 200 miles of a large town/hospital and within 100 miles of a food shop
>buy motorbike or other cheap transport and live inside it or in a hammock with an underquilt/overquilt travel to the land from the airport
>build a simple, well insulated cabin elevated on posts
>start to plant enough crops to feed you year after year, start transporting canned food/essentials, water filters, any medication you need, sanitary supplies, vitamins etc to store in your dwelling
>only stay for under 6 months at first but once you have enough to last you a decade and have been reliably harvesting crops year after year and cycling the planting areas (mainly potatoes, large a variety as possible of vegetables able to grow reliably in the climate)
>then just overstay and live on the land until you run out of water filters or get a health problem which requires a doctor and can't be helped by over the counter medication
Isn't this preferrable to working a manual labour job with eastern europeans for 12 hour shifts just so you can afford to rent a shoebox flat or terraced house in an urbanised environment while your body and mind slowly degrades over time?
Why haven't more people done this in the UK?
Just look how popular videos and channels like this are here about living offgrid in the UK

The only thing that would stop you would be a health problem or bear attack which required something more than OTC medication
