In all honestly, I couldn’t care less the reason why someone goes /out/, whether it’s to larp around or get a shot for their instagram or whatever. Because, in my opinion, if there’s a chance that out of 100 people that do that, 1 of them genuinely becomes interested and begins to love the outdoors, then it’s worth it. That’s how education and knowledge and appreciation are passed down. Through exposure.
Sure it sucks when people go out and destroy nature for what? Who knows, but there’s always going to people who DO actually appreciate nature, and the more people exposed to the outdoors, the more that will gain that appreciation
